The executive committee has set up sub-committees, responsible for tackling certain industry areas:

  • Hostels Committee
    Continue to work on standards, touting and closing illegal hostels.
  • Public Relations, Media & Representation Committee
    Liaison with industry bodies and other states' associations.
  • Events Committee
    Responsible for organising the BOA social events calendar, including maximising fund-raising opportunities, providing a social networking environment for the membership and communicating the events calendar fully to the membership and their staff.
  • Membership Services and Regional Development Committee
    Develop the BOA product, including, but not limited to, the services available to the membership, in line with the funds at hand within the Association. Work with Tourism NSW on the development of regional NSW product. Concentrate on product development and education.
